I grew up in Clinton Township, New Jersey, an hour west of NYC and an hour north of Philadelphia. I enjoyed and competed in martial arts and even participated in the Junior Olympic Games. I also enjoyed competitive swimming. I learned to love the outdoors by volunteering as a lifeguard at a week-long Boy Scott Camp in upstate New York. I continued to grow this love for the outdoors as I moved out west and started attending Brigham Young University. I have recently graduated from Utah Tech University as a premed student and I am applying to medical. Zion has become a sanctuary to refresh my mind and soul. I enjoy helping others develop their passion for and find joy in the outdoors especially through the canyons of Southern Utah.
