  • This tour typically lasts 3 hours and is focused within the Public Lands on the West side of Zion NP.

  • Operated in our 10 passenger air conditioned Mercedes Sprinter Vans. A major improvement to open air tours during the inclement weather, dusty conditions and HOT summer weather.

  • We offer multiple opportunities during the tour to step out of the van, capture photos, stretch your legs and take in all the beauty Zion has to offer.

Private Scenic Driving Tour Info

Scenic driving tours typically take place outside of Zion National Park boundaries, giving you a unique perspective of the park from the outside looking in.

Driving tour options inside the park are available for private groups upon request. National Park regulations prohibit commercial driving tours on the Scenic Drive while the shuttle system is in operation (daily from March through November, and during the holiday season in late December). If you request a driving tour inside the park during shuttle operations, we are limited to the East Side of Zion—a beautiful area that may require brief stand-still periods due to traffic. National Park entry fees are the responsibility of the guest(s) if a tour inside Zion National Park is requested.

    • Scenic stops at mesas, overlooks, and viewpoints

    • Ideal for families, seniors, and photographers

    • All ages welcome — guests are responsible for providing car seats/booster seats for children if required by Utah state law

    • Private experience: your group only

    • Maximum group size per vehicle: 10 guests (larger groups will be split into multiple vehicles but can stay together and meet at scenic viewpoints)

    • Typical duration: 3 hours

    • Flexible start times to fit your group’s needs

    • Climate-controlled vehicle provided

    • Engaging interpretation on human history, geography, geology, and local folklore

    • Tours run daily between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (seasonal recommendations apply for best lighting)

    • Tours begin and end at the pickup location selected at booking

    • Driving routes may include one or multiple scenic locations, depending on group size, timing, and desired tour flow

Public Scenic Driving Tour Info

Pickup times may vary by up to 20 minutes depending on the distance between group pickups. Your guide will coordinate with you in advance. Please note that you will still receive the full driving tour regardless of any variance in pickup time.

Public Group Scenic Driving Tours take place outside of Zion National Park boundaries, giving you a unique perspective of Zion from the outside looking in.

This is a public group tour, meaning you will share a vehicle with other parties. Groups may include a wide range of ages. Our guides will do their best to create a great experience for everyone.

    • Scenic stops at mesas, overlooks, and viewpoints

    • Ideal for families, seniors, photographers, and all ages

    • Children are welcome, but must remain seated during all driving portions of the tour

    • If your child requires a car seat or booster seat under Utah state law, you are responsible for bringing it

    • Maximum group size per vehicle: 10 passengers

    • Typical tour duration: 3 hours

    • Start times are scheduled by our guide manager to optimize lighting at viewpoints

    • Climate-controlled vehicle provided

    • Engaging commentary on human history, geography, geology, and local folklore

    • All tours start and end at the pickup location selected at booking

    • Driving routes may include one or multiple scenic locations, depending on group size, timing, and overall flow of the tour
