Hi! I was born & raised in southeastern Kentucky, where I spent much of my time exploring just the rolling hills of rural Appalachia.

In high school, my older brother invited me on a cross-country road trip—an experience that opened my eyes to just how much more there is to explore in this world. I’ve been chasing adventure ever since.

A few years later, I moved to Lexington for college, where I discovered rock climbing as a way to spend more time outside, stay active, and constantly push my limits. As a teacher at heart, I loved introducing friends—both old and new—to the sport, often taking them out to climb in the Red River Gorge with hopes of sharing that same spark of excitement.

Now, as a newcomer not just to Zion Guru, but to the Zion Canyon and Utah as a whole, I’m eager to explore its depths—“hollers” and all. And as an Outfitter, I’m here to make sure you’re well-equipped for your own adventure, with the same excitement that has fueled mine.
