Hi! I grew up in southeastern Kentucky, where I spent much of my time exploring the hills of rural Appalachia.

In high school, my older brother invited me on a cross-country road trip—an experience that opened my eyes to just how much more there is in this world to explore. I’ve been chasing adventure ever since.

A few years later, I moved to Lexington, where I discovered rock climbing as a way to spend more time outside, stay active, and continually push my limits. A teacher at heart, I loved introducing friends (both old and new) to the sport, often taking them to the Red River Gorge in hopes of sharing that excitement.

Now, as a newcomer not just to Zion Guru but to the Zion canyon and Utah as a whole, I’m eager to explore its depths—“hollers” and all. And as an Outfitter, I’m here to make sure you’re well-equipped for your own adventure, bringing the same enthusiasm that has fueled mine.
