About a 1 hour drive from Springdale, and right outside of the Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park, is Kanarra Falls. This gorgeous river hike is about 3.7 miles round trip. You'll be hiking through the slot canyon, back and forth across the water, which flows year-round. There are multiple waterfalls to enjoy, and it's especially beautiful when it's received a bit of snow. One additional bonus is that it is a less visited area than Zion and has far fewer crowds. A metal staircase with a railing has been installed at one of the large waterfalls, and this adds accessibility to all as they hike the canyon. Stop to picnic at a waterfall, and soak in the sounds and beauty of this canyon.
