Join Zion Guru for a mystical evening under the stars as we celebrate Samhain with breath taking river view surrounded by the majestic cliffs of Zion National Park. There is a short hike to our gathering spot, so plan for a bit of movement.
Samhain (pronounced sow-in) is the ancient Celtic festival marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. Traditionally celebrated from October 31st to November 1st, it’s believed that during this time, the veil between the physical and spiritual worlds is at its thinnest — a perfect time for reflection, honoring ancestors, and welcoming transformation.

Fun Samhain Facts:
Samhain is the origin of many modern Halloween traditions, including costumes and carved pumpkins (originally turnips!).
It was once believed that during Samhain, spirits and fairies roamed freely — offerings were left out to appease them.
The word “Samhain” means “Summer’s End” in Gaelic, symbolizing both an ending and a beginning.
Come dressed warmly and bring a blanket to sit on, an open heart, and experience the magic of this seasonal shift in community and ceremony. Whether you’re new to Samhain or honoring ancestral roots, this is a night to remember.

As the Harvest Moon begins to rise above the red rock cliffs of Springdale, we invite you to gather with us for a powerful evening of breathwork, sound healing, and community connection under the stars.
Hosted by Zion Guru, this special workshop will take place on the Anasazi Plateau, a sacred land alive with ancient energy and natural beauty. Together, we’ll breathe, release, and align with the rhythm of the earth and sky.

Breath & Sound Bath Experience
This guided workshop includes:
Conscious Breathwork to ground the body and open the heart
Sound Bath Healing using sound bowls, soothing instruments, and vibrational soundscapes
Full Moon Reflection an opportunity to release and realign with your seasonal intentions
This event is open to all experience levels; no prior yoga or breathwork practice is required. Come as you are, and allow the magic of the moon and sound to do the rest.
About the Harvest Moon
October’s full moon, known as the Harvest Moon or Hunter’s Moon, is a time of transition and abundance. It represents the final gathering of energy before the shift into the quieter, more introspective months.
