Meet our Staff

I grew up in western Canada, adventuring outside in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta and British Columbia. At seventeen, I began traveling around the world, experiencing vastly different geographies and cultures.

I earned a BFA in painting and drawing and an MA in Art Therapy, and worked as an Outdoor Educator, Art Therapist and Art Educator. For almost twenty years I taught art to high school students at a leading college preparatory school in New Mexico where I regularly guided students on wilderness art making trips in the desert Southwest.

My experiences and training have led to a deep appreciation for the transformative and healing power of both nature and art. I moved to Springdale in 2022, to create art, work, and explore the desert Southwest. I love sharing this special place with others. In the Fall of 2023, I had the honor of being one of the Artists in Residence in Zion National Park, an unforgettable experience. My artist website is alisongreenartist.com
